The door of the heart

There is a love that I have found that does not disappoint me. A love that won't hurt me. A love I don't have to be perfect for or earn. A love that is free. A love that will accept me right where I am at. A love that wants me always no matter what I do or don't do. This is the love I have looked for. This love is GOD

Dear God, I realize I have locked the door to my heart. I built walls out of my own pain, hurts, and anger. I have found myself afraid to trust again. I thought I could do things my own selfish way. But I need a LOVE that won't fail me. I need you. I ask you to come into my heart and life. Please wash my mistakes away and make me new inside with your perfect LOVE.
